Event Seating Planner turns a guest list into a seating chart you can actually finish, and keeps it saved until the event.

Paste the list the way you have it ("Anna & Ben Smith", "Carl Diaz +1", "Grace (vegetarian)", "Bride family:"). Couples, families and plus-ones are kept at the same table, and you can add rules like "keep Uncle Bob away from Aunt Sue" or "Maya, Jess and Tom together". The auto-seat solver fills your tables so households stay together, keep-apart pairs are separated, friend groups share tables and no table is left half empty. Pin anyone you have already placed and re-run it around them.

Then fine-tune by hand: drag guests between seats and tables (mouse or touch), tap a table to rename it, switch it between round and long, or change its seat count, and drag tables around the floor. Broken rules are listed and highlighted in red as you go, dietary notes show on the seat, and search finds anyone instantly.

Every plan has a share link. Send it to your partner, a parent or your planner: they open it in any browser, no account needed, and edit the same chart. Changes show up for everyone within seconds, with a history of who moved whom, and a stale move never overwrites someone else's newer one.

When you are done, export an alphabetical escort card list, place cards by table, a meal and allergy list for the caterer, or a CSV for your spreadsheet. Works for weddings, rehearsal dinners, galas, corporate dinners, parties and classrooms. Come back from any chat: your plans are listed by name.
